I do a lot of work for a lady friend of mine who owns a fitness club in my city. Latest project is to build a closet to store yoga equipment and hide an ugly airconditioner unit.
Luck has it that her father is very good friends with the owner of a carpentry factory, specialising in ready-to-instal window frames. He can order all the wood in the world for cheap wholesale prices and has a complete factory with all the possible woodworking machines you can think of.
So I designed the closet and the guy says it would be best if I came over and cut everything on his saw in the factory. I didn't mind. [smile]
That was really a fun two hours for me, first time I worked on a sliding table saw this big, everything automated, programmed, everything runs so smooth and the saw has so much power. It's an Italian made SCM si400 Nova. Two hours work on this saw, would have cost me four or five to do with the TS55 and CS70.

So everything sawn, then everything transported back to the club and I could start to build the closet. I also got the standing offer that if I needed to do anything wood related I could come over and do it on their machines. My woodworking possibilities just got expanded into a whole new universe today.
I must say, when I used the CS70 back at the club again, I really didn't like it anymore. [embarassed] So weak. Bleh.
Didn't have much time to actually work on the closet today, had to do some other things also but got the bottom part, a drawer installed.

The usual Festool gang was also present and the boys were happy to once again earn their keep.
