Sorry if its been discussed already.

Has anyone used the brushless Makita, Milwaukee or Dewalt Impact drivers? Impressions?

I've had the brushless DeWalt for a few weeks now. So far, I couldn't be more pleased with it.

The 3 speeds are great, most of the time its' left on "2", plenty of power for general shop use. The "1" setting takes the power level down close to the small 12v impacts for light work. Kick it up to "3" for big stuff.

Battery life is proving to be excellent as well, the battery is still full, its going to be hard to remember where the charger is.

My framing crew is over a year into its second Makita brushless(first one got stolen) and it runs fine. We usu it for timber framing, running log screws from 6-14" long through pine beams and rafters. I've got one in my shop and absolutely love it.

If you get one go with the 3aH batteries, the 1.5s are pretty lame and don't seem to last.

HTH,
Bill

Thanks for the responses.

I am interested in the Dewalt brushless impact. I like the, trigger type, bit release feature as well as the light orientation. I am also interested in the T 15 impact. Anyone familiar enough with both of these to render an opinion?
