what are you going to buy before the price increase? if anything.

I wasn't going to buy anything, but now it looks like:

2700mm Guide Rail
LS130
RTS400
Several pads for the LS130
Lots of abrasives for my R0150 and the two sanders above.

Hey Dan, I would go for the 3000mm rail unless you have a particular reason for the 2700.  But I am interested in this RTS130???

When does the price increase go into effect and where did I put that list ?

Corwin,

That should read RTS400. 8)  And I'm wrestling with 2700 vs 3000.

Thanks,

Dan.

I have been lurking in the forums for a couple of weeks so I thought this would be a good time to make my first post.  I just purchased a
TS55 EQ CT22 combo
RO 150 EQ sander (watch came with it)  kind of cool
and set of clamps

I was originally going to pick up a MFT 1080 but now am waiting for the MFT/3
I am currently contemplating picking up a OF 1400 EQ Router before the price increase.

I think I have caught the green itch....my wallet is definitely lighter now.

When I "wrestled" this same question for the same reasons lately, I decided on the 3000 mm Guide Rail.  That enables it to be useful for ripping 4x8 sheets with a TS 75 as well as the TS 55 I now have.  So, unless you cannot accomodate the extra 300 mm length (just shy of one ft) due to storage, shop or transport limitations, go for the longer rail.

Dave,

One advantage of the 2700 is that it would fit vertically on a garage wall; the 3000 won't.  OTOH, the extra length would be nice.  I did find a space just to the right of a garage door track where the 3000 should fit nicely.  Oh well, it's only money.  ;D  :'( ;D :'(

Thanks,

Dan.

Also, one day you may want to combine multiple MFTs (or MFT3s ;)), or build a jumbo MFT so that you can do those 8' cut MFT style -- hinged from the guide rail brackets.  Can't do that with a 2700 as well -- or maybe not at all.  I've done this with my 3000 and really like the setup, but with that table combination set up my shop gets really, really small.   :(

i just ordered a systainer port.  save a few bucks. and I guess I can use it..........

last day of the old prices.

going to pick up my port later this day.
