what do you get 497702 set ??

Ive just ordered the 497702 cleaning set as it looked the best way to get a d36 hose for my Kapex. Now looking at the pictures the hose looks to have a different end on it. Will it fit over the kapex or have i ordered the wrong thing??

I wouldn't have thought it would be any different to other hoses. Certainly looks the same as the end on my AS D36 hose on my Kapex.

Just found a better list of what is in the set on an American website. Looks like it has the right hose (452881) . All the pictures even the one on the UK festool site show what looks like a different hose but hopefully I will be getting (452881) hose ??

PS I know its NON anti static but Im sure that will be fine and I plan on reducing the length so I get better extraction on my shiney new Kapex

You've got the right set. I have this set also and it comes with the proper 36 mm non-as hose. No worries.

Some of Festool's product images regarding cleaning sets are indeed misleading. Some show a 27 m hose, while non of the cleaning sets come with a 27 mm hose.

I think this is the cheapest way to get a 36 mm hose.
I only should replace the 27 mm machine end of the hose with a 36 mm end (487721).
The 27 mm end will fit in the dustport of the Kapex while the 36 mm will fit over the dustport which has better suction.

Cheers Alex . They do need to sort their pictures out, even the festool UK picture looks wrong ,it says it contains a d36 hose but in the picture the hose end looks tapered like my original d27 hose.

Well looks like it's the right hose as we thought but it says there it's a sys 4 not a sys 5. Most stuff I've seen in searches say it comes in a sys 5.

Just have to wait and see what shows up. Main thing is the hose is right
