Bought a Tanos Systainer 2 / attic from Lee Valley. Never bought from them before so I hope they are reputable. Want to take the attic lid and install it on my Sys 1 that holds my CXS for my drill bits.
I did the same thing for my CXS, and went to switch lids with a MFT systainer sys 1 but found that the CXS , the lid hits the charger and will not close. This is not really a problem, the sys 2 with the extras I carry with the drill, its nice to have extra room.
I have found Lee Valley to be a very reputable company

Hello everyone!!! Im new to the FOG and just trying to take in as much info as I can......LOTS to learn!!! I made my first purchase this week, just received my TS 55 , 2 rails and one being the LR32 as I also ordered the 1400 Router with track accessories and the CT 26 with Ultimate Dust Deputy will be delivered tomorrow. I am just getting into woodworking getting ready to build beds for my kids as my first task at hand. What all do you recommend that I might need to add to my lineup just getting started. Thank you. Nick

Ha I'm on a nix credit account, I pay as I go.. Personally I plan on taking my time to get the tools I mention in my signature that I want, in 3 years, it will happen, no rush to get in bottomless debt..

well....

i drove to the local axminster store yesterday after id finished work. the store manager couldnt get through to coustomer services as they had shut. he promised me he would get someone to give me a call this morning. i got a phone call and apparently my kapex is due in to their depot on monday and will be sent out to me. only a month after i ordered it like. and the of1010 router is going to be with me at some point in the future but they dont know exactly when.....

id have cancelled and gone with n&b but they arent going to give me them for the same price. good thing ive not needed either in the mean time isnt it  [mad]

Yes.  Festool has reduced the price of 4.2amp 18V batteries to $40.00. New price and available everywhere.

Also the TCL3 charger is now $65.00.  Both items are a significant price reduction for 2015. Not a time-limited sale.

Stock up! [big grin]

Cheers,

Frank

Installers centrotec set 500875... Had to really after getting cxs, t18 and bhc. I believe that's winning combination.

Bought a Kapex and MFK 700 EQ-Set used with some accessories, scored a MFT Kapex new for $269 and ordered blades for the Kapex. My tool budget is tapped :)

Was going to buy a sortainer and a sys 2, so looking through the different dealer sites...
I noticed that new C18,

...... well Its being delivered Tuesday , got the whole kit and kaboodle. (Means I got the set, for my UK brothers)

Replacement batteries....one of my pet peeves. Is there another aspect of power tools with more price gouging, industry wide. Don't kid yourselves. Festool is still making money even at that price as would any other supplier with any kind of market demand for its batteries.

the money has always in the batteries !!!! Look at those multi tool packages that only come with one or maybe two batteries.
