Just bought this set

https://www.gerschwitz.net/sys-centrotec-hd-edition-2015-200909-festool.html

It was a impulse buy, But I really liked it very nice quality kit when seen in person. Festool rep said they won't be selling the auger bits other than in this kit.

I really want this set.. What kind of price can it be had for in the UK?
Can't see it on nuts n bolts / ffx or axminster.

Is this it? http://www.dm-tools.co.uk/product.php/sn/FES200909

Did you get that Blum jig?

Yea thats the set.

E D Elson Ltd had it for 275 GBP + Vat.

I didn't expect to see it or buy it, but when I did, I thought man thats a nice bit of kit..

This was a total impulse buy
I got some projects when I get back to the states that I can use this on.

Will make the job a lot easier.

Oh yea, I picked up a  New style Tanos 3  . Pretty slick lots of storage.

Different style drawers.

If they don't offer the auger bits separately I think I'll storm Castle Festool and burn all the villagers (any other nasty stuff).

It would be insane not to offer them as a separate item. I'm not going to triplicate everything I already have just for auger bits.

This lack of kit modularity for the Centrotec stuff is really starting to get on the nose [mad]

Kev my brother from another mother,

I don't know who made the auger bits.

The socket and ratchets in the set were made by WERA
The ratchet had the WERA symbol stamped on it.

Got a TS55 REQ
2 1400 guide rails+bag (festool 90 years logo)
2 clamps
2 300 clamps
1 ratchet clamp

I already had a ts55 sold it to get a new one (I've done this twice now)

If you look after them you can get a good price second hand. It didn't cost me much to swap my 5 year old saw for a new one

Plus you get a new 3 year warranty, good move.

Well i finally jumped on the UNPLUGGED 18V train or should that be tour bus?

Just ordered:

Festool BHC 18 Li 5.2 Cordless SDS+ Hammer Drill 18V (5.2Ah)
Festool DRC 18/4 Li 5.2 QuaDrill Cordless Drill Driver SET 18V (5.2Ah)

[eek]

PS... Systainers are starting to become a problem for me  [unsure] [big grin]

Love the BHC!

Syslite for me, bloody energy saving bulbs are rubbish come 3oclock (in people's homes)

My jigsaw blades shipped from ToolNut today, from wherever they keep them. Does that count?

I'm gonna need a much bigger workshop [member=13058]Kev[/member]
I must start putting all my old tools into systainers and sell all my old dewalt 18v drills, jigsaws etc :)

Kind of an impulse buy: a SysLite Duo Set. Awesome worklight, great for working and installing in situ. And I needed something for an upcoming paint job at home.

Also a FS1400/2-LR 32; already own the longer one. The 1400 is handier on site…

From UPS; "A mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible. / Delivery will be rescheduled."

However, three other boxes did make it today. Guess three out of four's not bad.  [big grin]

Here i go again.

Just sold all my dewalt xr kit last night, that included a jigsaw and circular saw so OBVIOUSLY i have to replace them with festool equivalents  [big grin] [big grin]

Festool PSBC 420 Li Cordless Jigsaw 18V

Festool HKC 55 EB Li-Basic Cordless Circular Saw

Fine Tooth Saw Blade 160mm x 1.8 x 20 x 32T for HKC55

Chip Collection Bag For TSC55 and HKC55

Think i will build my new workshop out of systainers  [cool]

More....  [eek]

I thought i'll buy the angle base and guide rail base for the carvex as i don't need the full kit untill i seen the price of them 2 alone is the same as the full carvex accessories kit.
so...............

1 x Carvex ZH-SYS-PS 400 - 497709 kit on the way

[big grin]
