What Festool Did You buy Today?

Got my OFK500 today. It's nice feels good. I glad I went for it after much deliberation

I did look at loads of options

Also ordered an HKC55 today

THEN THATS IT FOR THIS YEAR ,,!!!!!

Just ordered the wife and kids some plug it 110V conversion kits for Christmas. I think they will really like them.

I'm also picking up a couple of those Anderson Ply MFT squares. They will make nice tree ornaments when we decorate the tree.

I tell ya Anderson Ply has really gone out of their way to help me get these shipped over to my APO.

I'm quite pleased and surprised they would put that much attention on such a small purchase.

Well My Eldest works about 10-16 km from there,
I think I'll go by later in January.

Today i ordered a brand new festool t15+3 5.2 ah set and a Festool of1400 ebq. I hope i gonna have much pleasure with these machines. i think the festool t15 gonna be in a different class than the bosch gsr 14,4v i owned. Hated that one.

I picked up the CXS this weekend at the In-Touch tools shows. I think it will get used quite often. Also got Sawstop no site saw.

I just got this 500312 CT Wing. It's holding up my level so I can scribe a line. It was dark, I didn't realize the pic came out so bad. Looks like I need to get a Festool 500723 KAL II SysLite LED Worklamp. [embarassed]

A couple of days ago ... I got a Syslite KAL II Work Light with the (excellent!) spherical ball-head & magnet / clamp attachment.

I'm adapting the steel 'keeper' plate for the magnet on the ball-head clamp by fitting it with a metal s-hook. This will let me hang the light (when I need to) even when I've attached one of a larger 5.2Ah battery packs to the KAL II.  I hope to post some pictures of my crafty extra s-hook modification in another sub-forum soon.

I've just taken the plunge even deeper in to the festool world by buying a ctl midi complete with the cleaning kit, to complement the TS55 I bought the other month.
I'm also pleased to say that the 27mm hose fits my old Metabo SXE450 sander perfectly  [big grin] so should get a thorough work out on tomorrows job.

Just grabbed a BS105 belt sander with the floating frame today. I'd HATE to live in a country where I couldn't put my hands on this puppy!!! [scared] [eek]

Also picked up a CMS extension table and bunch of Metabo-licals.

Well I'm pleased to say the midi worked a treat with the metabo and the cleaning kit did a cracking job of cleaning the dust generated from hand sanding  the detailed bits.  I'm glad the cleaning kit has a picture of how to fit it all back in the box as its a snug fit  [big grin]

I´ve bought the long desired CXS along with the Sys-Centrotec 2015-W Tool Systainer. Maybe the purchase was a little bit impulsive because i have already the Bosch Uneo, which works flawless now for about 10 years. I have to do some work next year at another place, so i though it was a good idea to have another tool since i wanted a smaller drill than the Bosch Uneo. What i really need is the angle for the drill, since i have to work in some small places.

Nevertheless, now i have the drill along with all accessories in 2 very small Systainers, which is a further step in organization for the different small task i have to do once in a while. I took the Bosch Uneo drill also on the picture because he has one thing, i didnt thought enough about: the impact driver. Since the Festool CXS is not able to drill into concrete, i needed the Bosch Uneo, which is one of the smallest impact drill i know and i have to take it along with the CXS. Maybe i should buy also a systainer for the Bosch Uneo.

The Centrotec systainer was quite expensive, but i want to have all tools together in one single systainer, so the organization is much better now. (Although i still need the Bosch ....)

But i already love the CXS for its accuracy, its compactness and its power.

Was going to go down to Missoula today to buy a 1400, but they don't have one in stock.  Darn!

A couple of hours later the store called and one came in today, so my wife and I drove down to pick it up.  Since it is 85+ miles one way, it took a while.

Compact cleaning kit for the CT midi

Just bought the HK85 and groove unit, can't wait to try this out...

[member=59697]danbox[/member] can't wait for your feedback on this - we down under are awfully curious about how well it can cut a decent trench in some hardwood.

I ordered a KAL II SysLite from Toolnut the other day.  Guessing I will be happy given the reviews I have read.  Next will be a new brushless 125 to share abrasives with my RO125.

Hey Kev ,

Let me know what ya think about the belt sander. Ive been thinking about getting one for a while now, even though they only come in 240, Im thinking it might be worth it.
