OFK700 and T75 ordered today. Have wanted both for a long while and got a good deal from joineryfitout.co.uk that was 130 less than my normal Festool goto supplier

I got a CT Midi to go along with my CT36 on the last day of the dust extractor sale.  Looking forward to being more portable when I go out of the shop.

One question about the extractors - I noticed on both that it has a sticker that says not to plug in a tool that pulls more than 3.7 amps.  Yet I know many users with the CT Midi hooked up to a Kapex which draws 13 amps.  So what's with the warning?

I wanted to hook up my DeWalt miter saw to the Midi and it draws 13 amps also.

Hi all.  I new here, but proud to be a Festool owner.  My new tools are...

CT26
TS 55 REQ
MFT/3 Table
ETC EC 150/3
Guide Rail Kit

Looking forward to using these this weekend.

Got the hose and plug-it in the sock/sleeve/thingy thing x5m and lots of mahogany dominos

Kev, Pretty sure the sleeved hose only comes in two sizes;  3.5m (in the systainer), or 10m, in a box.

Of course it is possible that folks in your neck of the woods exaggerate about the size of everything!

Nah - you're right .. I just can't read. It does say "3,5m". It's just a case of those silly europeans using commas when they should use decimal points [mad]

Just took delivery on an HKC 55. Really enjoying the saw on the first day. Not entirely sure, but the single battery in this saw seems to outlasts the dual battery in the TSC 55.

Good first selections.  Enjoy!

air19,

Yours is a frequently asked question. Go to Festool Discussions, scroll down to the second sticky, "Amp rating" etc. Short version is that you're good to go.

Ordered a 3.5 M 35mm antistatic hose, set of quick clamps and a roll of 120 grit foam backed granat sand paper.

OF 1010 I hang a lot of doors and have been using my OF 2200 route the hinges while it does the job I think a smaller router will make my life easier  but i don't do it enough to justify buying a dedicated hinge router  .I Also ordered the LR32 system as I have been doing a bit of cabinet making lately  and again hopfully this will make my life easier  and help me expand the making boxes with doors side of my business.
[member=9570]Robert James Ross[/member] I use the little Makita RT0 700 trimmer with a plung base for door and jamb hinge fitting, works a treat and is not too expensive.

MFK 700 EQ set.  Love it compared to my Bosch Colt!
Going to order the 0 degree base and modify it like Paul Marcel did.  Wonder about taking the base to a machine shop and see if they can cleanly do it with a milling machine.

I was going to wait to get these but it seems most practical to just get the gear now so I can get the practice using it when I have extra time the next 6 weeks.. I plan on using the MFS as squaring device as well a routing aids that means I can save money on the fancy squares people are buying..
MFS 400 x2 MFS VP 700 VP 1000
the ZS set OF 2200, I'll need the accessory set if I'm going to take full advantage of the MFS

Picked up the handrail fence for the domino xl

Mine came a few days ago too...

[member=40772]Holmz[/member] I thought you were flogging of your 700 ??

Well I was... Still might...
But the one thing that was hard was doing narrow work.

I got it from Amazon.de along with a bunch of small stuff like Metabo 1/4" (centrotec style chucks), and the Kress drills.
