Just bought the new cordless drywall gun. Finishing a basement and I don't want to spend all day feeding screws by hand.

just under £1000 for a tool to cut holes...
woo hoo! so excited to get toying with this baby.
the box puts me in mind of an organ donor container.
first festool tool purchase, probably a planer and a router to come as upgrades, then a survey upon what new toys i want next...

Lots of reviews of people sinking boxes of 3" Spax screws and even 6". Mine just cuts out. Fresh battery and all. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? I seem to remember even the old Makita 9.6 volt drills being able to drive a 3" screw. The display/demo one at the store also cut out on a #12, 1 1/2" screw but I thought the display battery might be run down it was the 1.5 Ah or whatever they started with. Mine is the 2.6
Also waiting for my pro5 sander to show up. These are my first Festool buys.
