Well, i bought my self a Festool vecturo 18 volt, it's already for sale in the netherlands
Why?

why? most of the time i buy tools to use them? or do you mean why a Festool and not a fein or bosch?

I think Sanderxpander thinks, you bought it and sold it again? I read your post that way the first time round.
When what you meant was, you bought one as they are already available in your country, where as they are not in many other countries?

It’s a Fein Supercut wearing new clothes I believe?

Centrotec systainer Festool SYS-1 CE-SORT,  # 497628

I was in Prague last week and found a local dealer who had it in stock.  Also got a few 8mm shank router bits.

I wasn't planning on buying a CMS. The price was just too much to justify for what I'd use it for in the immediate future. I jokingly texted [member=5]Bob Marino[/member] a few months back about if he had one I'd like it and he said actually. .I do, it's in my attic unused. One thing led to another, some negotiations with the wife occurred, a road trip was set:
One of the benefits of being a Festool dealer and well here we are. One brand new CMS-GE Set.

I've known for a while I needed a router table. At one point I was prepared to get a Bosch RA1181 and a 1617EVS and just deal with using it outside on nice days. Then I thought maybe the Kreg table could be good and I'd have to engineer a dust cabinet for using it in my space and somehow hook it up to my CT 26 and hope for good results. I wanted something portable though so I could stow it when not in use. And I don't own or have room for a proper dust collector at the moment. So when Bob threw me the price of his setup I couldn't resist for being able to fit well into my space and work with what I already have.

I set it up yesterday after lots of fussing with the extension table and the fence. The fence in particular was out of wack until I worked with every little screw and knob on it to get it right but it seems good to go now. I can certainly see how someone not 100% devoted to Festool and the quirks of figuring out machine setup would be turned off by this tool in comparison to other tables on the market. Had I not used it under the instruction of Gregory Paolini last month I probably wouldn't have valued it as much as I do. Micro adjust may be in its future, we'll see.

While I was in his garage I asked if he had any of the old non-cleantec hose ends and after a lot of looking none turned up. I was pretty happy to see when I got home the 2-1 CMS hose that came with the CMS set still has the old style end on it for connecting to the router's dust shroud. One happy camper here.

Besides my Vecturo OSC 18  [tongue], got my 'Cleaning set for industrial use D 50 GS-RS'.

This 50 mm. hose looks like a freaking fire hose! Maybe went a little overboard  [embarassed] here. ROFL. That diameter is massive  [eek].

Got a nice experiment hooking this baby up with the CT-VA and the MIDI, very curious if that will work[/i  [blink]].

I bought a nice 36mm hose, and one of these to go with it:

The new Kapex KS 120 REB Set-UG

I like it very much  [thumbs up]

I'm disappointed that there's no pic of the hose  [big grin]

Where are my manners:

I nearly forgot, bought another bluetooth remote too, I have a few of these now, as I have a few hoses attached to certain tools, and can’t be bothered keep changing the remote.
I did have one loose in the workshop, just to operate the extractor easily but, I put them down and forget where I put them?  [unsure]

Bought a new bandsaw too, not Festool though, so no pics  [big grin]

Diminutive additions to my Festool collection, but I acquired the Centrotec stubby drill bit set and 3/8" socket adapter.

Went to my first ever Festool Roadshow even this past Thursday near Dallas/Fort Worth.  Steve, one of the trainers was very helpful and showed me around some of the tools that I had wanted to see in person and in use for the longest time.  Anyways, I went with the intention doing some hands on research and coming home with some systainers and/or an OF1400 and LR32 set at most.  However, after getting to use the Conturo with the Vac clamps and seeing the amazing results it produces, not to mention the fraction of the time it takes to produce them when compared to our iron and trim by hand methods; needless to say I was sold.

Anyways, I woke up the next morning and ordered not only the OF1400 and LR32 set, but also the Conturo delux set (MFK 700) and vac clamps.  As a small kitchen remodeler who does all our own custom cabinets, this is about to be a game changer for us quality and productivity wise.

Pics will be posted when everything starts trickling in later this coming week!

Welcome to the forum!

Spending time with Steve is wonderful!  He explains, he shows, he shows you stuff you wouldn't expect.  Then you go away and all that stuff soaks in.

Hope you love your new stuff!

Peter

Yesterday was an expensive day. I bought the Domino XL 700 together with a set of Dominoes. But this purchase was overtrumped by my other tool which I bought yesterday: My new girlfriend Erika.

The Erika is already 5 years old and used, but in mint condition. The previous owner only made about 5 cuts in the past 5 years.
