What Festool Did You buy Today?

It's a great little machine. I got one a few months ago. I haven't put as much time into it as I would like, but it has helped me out with some hardware installs. It's easy to do SOSS hinges with it, no jigs, no fiddling around, very precise.
I've also done a few templates for flush routing some oddly shaped parts too. It is far more capable than that though.

got tired of my corded TS 55 so I bought the new cordless TS 55 from Don at Anderson plywoods.

Should be shipped tomorrow and I should get it next week.

My old saw is a TS55 EQ. Its a older saw in very good shape still works well. From what I  understand people really like the EQ.

Once my Cordless gets here.

Ill be putting up my corded saw for sale.

TS-55 F with a new track.
Preordered with LeeValley, expecting delivery around March 25. Also got a new Panther and 28 tooth blades.
Earlier this week, I sold my TS-55 REQ with a couple of extra blades. Looking forward to 1.8mm kerf and a brand new toy :)

I also received the TS-55 FEBQ, not sure because its also a fresh blade but the 1,8mm seems to cut with less effort. I received it together with an OF1010 REBQ, also there some small changes but nice benefit with the more open vision and its improved dust extraction (I hated it when my vacuum hose sometime disconnected during usage on my old OF1010). Overall good smaller updates on both machines, gonna be happy to put them more to use soon. :)

I don't know about the USA used market, but in NL the used TS 55's (R and even the older non-R) sell for ridiculously high prices.

Same in Canada, perhaps because you can not easily source it in the store

Nah it's like a TS 55 (R), way past warranty gets sold for 400(+) while new costs €490, next day delivered...

It's pretty close to "I've worn out the 48T blade... let me sell it and instead of buying a new blade I'll get a new machine..."

Finally after 3 months of waiting, I received my TSC-55 K. Can't talk about it yet since I just charged the batteries but I can't wait to try this new saw.

I just ordered the CT MIDI (with BT remote), Rotex 150, and the LR32 kit/1400 rail. Unfortunately the OF1400 seems to be out of stock everywhere, and I have cabinet projects I'll have to wait on. I also got the new version of the DF500 support bracket, I have the older model of the DF500 which doesn't have the 20mm stops on the included support bracket.

I'm excited since they will be my first brand new Festool tools, plus I've been working with the Makita cordless sander which is a bit underpowered, so the Rotex is a huge step up. And I always find tedious tasks are where splurging counts, since I usually avoid sanding like my life depended on it because of the time, effort and dust.

I have the new TS55 KEB-F on order from ToolPros, initially delivery was mid-March subject to change, checked back last week and it had slid to April something or other, then again just now and it hit May 31. Nothing surprising given the reality we live in, but I'm unsure if the posted delivery dates apply to all previous orders or just orders placed recently. I guess I'm trying to convince myself it'll show up before midsummer.

[member=76497]jacklewis[/member] - You might want to consider one of the new OF1010R routers. While it does not accommodate 1/2” router bits like the OF1400 and is not quite as powerful it is a great router for the LR32 system. I have both and I always grab it when using the LR32. Just a thought. The new model of the OF1010 is supposed to be shipping at the end of this month. Don’t get me wrong the OF1400 is a great all around router and if I could have only one it would be it but the OF1010 is great with LR32 and might be more attainable right now.

Yesterday I bought a Domino DF500 Q Set.

This is what happens when you live 10 minutes away from Hartville Hardware...

I ordered a new OF1010R router, the LR32-SYS set, and a FS 1400/2-LR 32 Guide Rail today.

Now I need to get some connectors to connect this rail to my old rail for when I need to make long cuts with the TSC55. Are the TSO connectors still considered best, or are the new Festool ones now superior?

Just bought a set of 5 SYS-AZ drawers. Now need to build a cabinet for them. Planning on incorporating the cabinet into the stand for my DW735 planer.

Next up, probably an MFT/3 and possibly a TS55F to replace my old ATF55E.

[member=77574]redroy[/member] - I have not used the new style Festool connectors but I have the old style (never used) and the TSO connectors. I’m not sure how you could improve on TSO’s. They are pretty much perfect.

[member=77640]Kpp80202[/member] I bought 25 of these and built storage under my table saw out feed table.  Worked great.

Wow, that is a massive storage set up!

While at my local Rockler for their Founders Day celebration a couple of weeks ago, I saw that they had a 4 month delivery time on the Viking Nova (I know it's not Festool) so I went to order it and low and behold they had one in-store in the back. I pulled the trigger and took it home with me same day!

While in the store, I went ahead and ordered a Domino DF 500 and the Domino Cutter and Dominos assorted set. Both were in stock and shipped in a couple of business days.

The big surprise was the track saw! I ordered a TSC 55 K from Rockler in January and was randomly on Woodcraft's website and saw they had it in stock 2 weeks ago so I purchased a second one. My thought was if this isn't a misprint on their website then I'll just cancel the one from Rockler if the one from Woodcraft ships.

Rockler delivery date was May 31st and I'm building a crib because my wife and I are expecting our first child! Another low and behold... Woodcraft shipped me the TSC 55 KEBI-F-Set-FS. It arrived last week!

I couldn't wait to set up my Bora centipede and start breaking down some baltic birch. I also purchased the .8kerf panther blade to rip some pieces of hardwood. Curious if I'll still need to run that edge through my jointer.

Excited to join this awesome community!

P.S. I'm in Indiana and Sledge is just a few minutes away from me... might have to fanboy and track him down haha. Also, George Vondriska will be at my local Rockler on Sunday... can't wait to meet him and get a picture!
