Prototypes/pre-production models of all the not-yet-announced 18v gear?  [blink]

Got to hope there's quite a few of those... [tongue]

Hmmm, remember the large black Mercedes with darkened windows that you saw opposite Ron's place last year...... [blink] [scared]

Hey Phil,
I just picked up the C18 so no need to bring it.

Being delivered today, I've been Holding off finishing a project to use it.

Now about that cooltainer.......l..

I think Phil should bring the 2015 roadshow truck...

Hmmm, i can bring the smaller version  [wink] but not sure if Rons neighbours would appreciate the full size version on their driveway [eek] [eek] [jawdrop]
The guy who drives the truck is a wizard when reversing. I watched him reverse out of a dealers premises near to our H.Q - two right hand 90 degree turns a 90 degree left on to the main road - all done in one smooth operation  [cool]

Hey Phil,

I could use some help in using my 850 planer. I when I edge plane some timber even if it's the  same width,  I always end up with the pieces tapered. Maybe you can give me/ us some useful tips.

Oh I do use the full length angle stop/ fence with it.

Hmmm, user error!! [poke]

I know it's user error but I don't know what I'm doing incorrectly. [bite tongue]

Your pushing down on the plane handle rather than using the guide as your referance. So start off by pushing hard on the quide so it is flat against the vertical section of the timber, start off pushing on the plane to get the depth and than relax your hold and let the planes weight do the downward pressure, two or three passes and your timber is perfectly square and straight.

Based on my recent concrete cutting exercise with an angle grinder I would dig seeing the Festool track based grinder/cutter...

Thanks. I'll try it when I finish this current project.
