I just finished this little gem (for me at least!) today and of course I know what it is, but thought I would see if anyone can figure it out.

Good luck!

Cheers. Bryan.

Martin house? But it needs a domino beneath each hole for a perch...

Thought so too but the angle is too steep for that too hold and then there is the knob on the side.....?

Gotta have something to do with the precision base for the INCRA LS positioner based on the 2 holes on top.

Maybe it is an attachment to attach the positioner to the side rail without wasting MFT/3 table top space?

it's one of these streamlined for them modern times...
the wall had to be opened up so that the steampunk tubing could be connected from the shop to the kitchen so that the missus can call dinner time.

yeah, i also think it's to hang the incra setup by the mft adapter.  the photo may exaggerate the angle but if you store the thing with fence up, it should just hang there without having to fasten it from the other side.  the knobs that fasten it to the mft just store on the side friction fit.

Ding, ding, ding!!  Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

I had another plate hanging directly on the wall but it posed two issues. 1) it was difficult to reach behind to secure it with a knob and 2) it is deceiving but it takes up a LOT of wall space.

The angle isn't exaggerated, it is 15 deg and I did it so the LS is a bit easier to get the knob on for securing and it kicks out the end so I can put some other things near it. I am thinking of moving my dog board below it as they are fairly flush.

Here is a pic with it on the wall and I will show it with my other project that I am currently building. More to come later.

Thanks for playing!  Bryan.

is that what they call vertical integration?  my incra setup has not left the table since i installed it because i splurged and bought an extra dedicated mft for it but i'm sure i will have to find a similar solution before too long.

super surprised that you did not alter your plans for the build to include my brilliant phone concept!
