What is it?

I was using my jigsaw tonight and needed to cut a circle so I decided to use the circle cutting attachment. When I went to get it out of the systainer accessory kit I found a little fabric cord with a keychain hook thing on one end and a little green plastic square thing on the other end.
What is this for?  Forgot to take a picture.

Thanks,
Trevin

It (the hook) locks trigger when the saw is mounted into CMS module. CMS table has its own switch. But this is for TS saw, what is it doing among jigsaw accessories?

I just watched a video online and this is for the jigsaw. It locks it to the 'on' position like you said. This one is not a 'hook' but its a little flat square piece of plastic.

So if the jigsaw came with this then why didnt my Ts55 come with the 'hhok' one to use in the cms?

Really not important to me since I do not have a CMS table and do not plan on getting one.

I should just go to sleep so I can get up early to play in the shop.

Thanks,
Trevin

The CMS-TS insert comes with the power button lock since it takes a specific model of TS.

The CMS-PS insert for the jigsaws is universal (apart from PS 4x0 all fit directly, for PS 4x0 you need ADT-PS 420). Since the triggers are different on each model they added the locks to the saws instead of the CMS module (my best guess).
