Just got my TS55REQ back from Festool after recall servicing (thanks for the new hat, BTW). Anyhow, I opened my systainer and that wonderfully sweet and fresh Festool smell greeted me. This is an old systainer; yet, that new Festool smell was strong. Is Festool infusing that smell in the plastic? Does it use a spray bottle to refresh that smell? Can I get a bottle of Festool Febreeze to spritz around the shop? Does Festool have a patent on that smell as some kind of advanced marketing scheme that involves not only sight but smell?
What is that smell?
