Hi everyone, I just bought a workshop out and this came along with it.  The internet can't tell me what it is, but I bet someone here can.

HSS High-Speed Steel 484 958

It's really hard to get out of the package and it might be an early domino cutter?

thanks,
Rich

Looks like it is really old, Festo changed their name to Festool in 2000.

It is a spiral upcut bit to cut slots in aluminium.

It is not for the Domino, but for a standard router with 8 mm collet. The Domino didn't exist back then.

Packaging and instructions point to it being a Festo/Festool spiral upcut router bit.
The 8mm shank is standard in Europe on the OF1010 etc.

You can also get an 8mm collet for other Festool routers (I one for my OF1400).

Didn’t know it was for aluminum....I use one to freehand lettering in wood..wasn’t easy to get a hold of I ordered it from the UK a couple years ago.
