What is this?

So I set up my new MFT3 the other day - everything went smoothly except it seems like I have an extra part left over  :-[

Anyone know what this is?

Offhand, I'd say it was the round-head screw (#33) and rotary knob (#36) in the attached PDF file.  This comes from Festool's EKAT.

It's the release knob for the one of the cross brace leg supports.

Thanks but the bolts on the leg supports are hex head - at least on my set - the knob appears to be the same however.

Take a look at the photo below.  It appears to be the one I'm pointing at.  It's used to lock the position of the profile above it to which the protractor is mounted.

That's it! I should have realized that needed a clamp of some kind - it is not very clear in the "directions".
