Great now you tell me!  [wink]

I plan on getting but it's a matter of two things..1) Funds and 2) working on my skills.

I gotta be honest, I have alot of knowledge when it comes to remodel and rougher work, but this router has opened my eyes a bit. Made me reallize how little knowlegde I have on routering. Gotta work on that, as I get into finer work. But also made me realize how awesome Festool is, the precision I am able to get on the 1010 is unreal. My Goal is to get a pretty good grip on how to build and install some basic built ins.

So for now, biscuits, pocket screws and glue will have to do!

Well, did it again..What the picture doesn't show is the TS55r I have on order and...The divorce papers!! Yet I am still in heaven!!

You went about it the wrong way. Every experienced woodworker knows that you find something the spouse would really like and then you convince the spouse that you need to buy this new 'essential' tool to build it. It comes down to simple math.

You don't need skill, just desire (yeh, funds too) ... trust me on this - I know!  [wink]

Thanks Kev!

My wife complained because I would not let her use 'my tools'. She went and bought her own CXS. Now my daughter wants her own tools and a few systainers for storage. My youngest decided she didn't her own tools: she just went downstairs and put my tools in her room. Then proceed to lecture me about sharing.

Ahh, skip the divorce papers. Each Festool should come with both a warranty card and free family counseling.
