A guy brought some of this wood for me when I sold a piece of equipment and I like it's grain pattern.  It's the dark one.  I am using it for a cutting board and I realized I didn't have enough.  It may be native to Oklahoma.  Does anyone recognize this?

I found out... It was post oak (Quercus stelata).  Could be hard to find at the lumber store.

I contacted the guy who gave me that wood.  He is a certified arborist in Oklahoma and he told me if I would bring my truck, he would load me up as he also has a log mill.  They cut down a lot of trees for folks and has to get rid of a lot of it.  He's going to be my BFF!  ;D
