Some Wera, Wiha, and Knipex to add to the growing collection.

Is that two each of two different Wiha insulated bit drivers?  For different tool boxes or ......... ?

3 different drivers (2)slotted/philips, (1) each of slotted/philips/square and slotted/philips/torx. I have a few tools that I keep in my office at work, but most of them I just have at home for personal usage. I need to run a sub-panel to my garage and then run the electric for all my large shop tools.

Williams SuperCombo wrench sets .................

I was looking at those CUTech jointers over the weekend, but was concerned when I couldn’t locate a phone # for customer service on their website.  I’d love to hear a full review after you’ve had a little time to play.

My kids (8 and 10) are really into architecture and building stuff.  They go to a shop to take classes and I volunteer there, but it's scary seeing them use large machines and I spend my time playing Mr Safety and operating tools their small hands can't handle.  So...I found the Proxxon line of model making / craft tools that are mini versions of the large shop ones and I'm outfitting a kids workshop in the basement next to my shop.  This is going to be a great Xmas for them...and if this is just a fad for them, now I have some small tools to use along side my big ones.

So far I've bought...

Table top sawhttps://www.proxxon.com/en/micromot/27006.php

Chop sawhttps://www.proxxon.com/en/micromot/27160.php

Power supply for the 12v toolshttps://www.proxxon.com/en/micromot/28704.php

12v Drill/Rotory Toolhttps://www.proxxon.com/en/micromot/28512.php

12v Jigsawhttps://www.proxxon.com/en/micromot/28534.php

A Milwaukee Fuel M18 Sawzall with the 9.0 battery. On sale at Home Depot for only $249.
Time to dump the V28 Sawzall.  [big grin]

Interestingly enough, the new naked M18 Sawzall is heavier than the V28 and the M18 battery is also heavier than the V28 battery.  [crying]

Wow, the full kit version, which only includes a second battery and plastic carrying case is twice as much for $499.

Big difference!

I ordered some Bessey rail clamps from woodpeckers , $56 usd for 2 clamps.
Ships after 1-18-2018 , but that’s o.k for me.
Got 4 at that price.

Ya, it was a no-brainer for me. The Fuel Sawzall with a 9.0 battery and a charger in a cardboard box for $249, that’s something you don’t even think twice about. The naked Fuel Sawzall (tool only) goes for $199. [eek]  The 9.0 battery alone goes for $170 and the charger is a $40-$50 item.

Those blow molded Milwaukee cases however are a PITA. I just chuck them because they’re worthless. Solid structure for landfill.  [big grin]

Blue Spruce Toolworks coping saw.

Upgraded my ancient levels.  Bought 24, 48, and 72" electronic levels...got them from Zoro's at 25% off.  I've had an original electronic level, a 24" Wedge Smartlevel since 1987.  I still works great, used to spring clamp it to a 72" aluminum extrusion for longer jobs.  I'm 65 now and lying down on the floor to see the display or bubbles for mirror installations made me think I deserved an upgrade.  Also bought 3/8" imperial and metric Wera Zyklop sets and the imperial Tool-Check Plus Bit Ratchet Set.

A Wedge Smart Level!  You and I might be the only ones here who owned own.  Unfortunately mine gave up the ghost years ago, but darn they were cool!  Did you have multiple rails?
