From Lee Valley, I got a set of Veritas flushing chisels with an extra handle, and a plane screwdriver. I've got a set of Veritas mortise chisels on the way.
Thanks to [member=71184]ryanwichman[/member] I recently became aware of FastCap.com. First I ordered their TrackRack products and hung my rail on my garage door. In that shipment I received a couple of their tape measures. Much to my chagrin and to my extreme enjoyment I also received their catalog in that shipment. Well that lead to the purchase of their Best Fence system which arrived a few days ago. My OCD didn’t end there. I received this today. Like my wife always says, woodworking is just the cover story for the REAL addiction that is tool collecting!

. Apparently every addict has one!Not woodshop related, but this is one of those time-savers or problem-solvers that some may find useful. VIM Tools VHC77 stubby bit set. The bits are 16mm long vs that standard 25mm and the ratchet is a bit shallower than most as well. The set comes with a full complement of everything Audi shoved into my engine bay and a few others for good measure. I swear the engineers over there go to a local nut and bolt warehouse and choose one of everything. To make matters worse, they aren't consistent from car to car. One might have a T30 for a particular application and the other will have an M8 triple square.
Anyway, the set doesn't come cheap. $80-90 on Amazon. Here is a pic comparing the familiar Wera ratchet with the included T30 vs. the VIM ratcheting wrench with their 16mm T30.

I’ve had a situation where a 1” bit would fit into the head of the fastener but there wasn’t enough clearance to unscrew the fastener.

[member=44099]Cheese[/member] LOL! Yeah, SO fills out their tool line with odds and ends from lots of other sources. There is a thread in garagejournal where you can find the OEM's or alternate brands that don't come with the SO tax.
If access and reaching fasteners in hidden places is a frequent challenge, might I also suggest getting the HBR12 ratcheting wrench. It's 12" long, which can help or hurt, but it has a pivoting head on one side.

Oh, and don't chase the SO guy for this one, it's says "made exclusively for VIM Tools" on the flyer. [tongue]

I've got a couple of the extra short bits that I use in the Wera ratchet (smallest one). They come in handy sometimes in weird cabinet spots. Such as behind a drawer slide mount or some such.

I just received a router bit vise to ease the task of holding the router bit without marring the shaft when changing cutters or bearings. It will hold 1/2", 1/4" & 8 mm diameter bits. It's very nicely machined from black Delrin. I was very surprised and impressed with the quality of the machining. You can see the flycutter machining marks on the Delrin. The router bit shafts are held stationary with the one-way needle bearings.

I also picked up a Colt 5-Star forstner bit in 1 3/16" diameter to install some Magswitch holdowns. The Colt 5-Star forstner bits are really nice and they're manufactured in Germany or France.

TSO Precision Triangle kit. I bought it during the Labor Day sale, got it this week. Really well made, haven’t had a chance to use it yet. Need to design a sustainer insert to hold all the bits and pieces.

I just got my new Milwaukee M12 installers 4 in 1 drill driver from Tool Nut. All my cordless stuff is Milwaukee so I am really happy they came up with this. The CXS has been calling my name for a while now but the thought of another battery platform has kept me away. Looks like a great tool. I will do a better job of putting it through it’s paces tomorrow!
