What's included with the OF 1400 EQ Plus?

I recently bought an OF 1400 EQ-Plus USA router (574342) from the Festool reconditioned sale.  The systainer has some empty slots and I'm wondering if some stuff may have been left out by accident, or if it just has the extra slots for accessories.

Based on the diagram in the lid, it looks like the empty slots are for a large clear plastic dust shroud (I do have the smaller clear plastic dust shroud) and an edge guide.  It seems odd that the router would include the guide rods but neither an edge guide nor the track adapter.  Are any of these normally supposed to be included, or are they always sold separately?  Thanks!

Sold separately my friend! The edge guide is $75 and the track guide is $50

The guide in the lid is there to show you where to put the extras that you either purchased with your version of the machine or may acquire later.

Thanks, guys!  I thought that might be the case, but I figured I should double-check.

Is the other dust extraction shroud part of the edge guide, or is it for something else?

Also, when I went to use the router today I noticed that the Plug-It from my ETS 150/3 sander is keyed differently and won't work with the router, but the router's Plug-It will work fine with the sander.  What's up with that?

The router draws more amps (current) and has a thicker cord (lower number wire gauge). The cord for the sander is thinner because the sander draws less amperage. So it is OK to use the router cord with sander and not so vice versa. The cords are keyed to the tool and keyed such that a cord for a higher amperage tool will work with a tool that does not require the higher amperage.

I hope that is clear. You need to know there are two different cords, so that if you need to replace one, you will need to know which one to replace. On the other hand if you have a dust collector, you will only need to plug one cord into it and switch tools without the need to change the cord.

The Systainers often include spaces that fit accessories that are sold separately.

Two different plug-it plugs? Is that something USA (110V) only? The cord from my sander perfectly fits that of my router, TS, etc. etc. They are all the same.

Same here in the UK - we only have the one size although I am not sure about 110 v UK versions.

It is possibly due to the 110 volts in NA. At that voltage some tools will draw a lot of amps and so (perhaps) that is why they need two gauges of wire.

Huh...it just seems strange (and annoying) that Festool would bother to produce two different cables.  Different wire gauges sounds bogus to me unless one design is older than the other and there was a change in the electrical code or certification requirements, because both cables are labeled as 10A@250V/13A@125V.

I don't have a Festool vac but I've been leaving a cable plugged into the wall so I wouldn't have to keep coiling it up with the tool, and was surprised when my sander cord wouldn't work with my router.

I've attached a picture.  Sander on the left, router/TS55 on the right.  The keyed part of the sander cable is numbered 58 and the keyed part of the router/track saw cables is numbered 59.
