What's Peter Halle's Story? (diagnosed with cancer)

Fogger's are the best!  I will carry your thoughts and wishes with me.

Peter

Hi Peter,

From Nova Scotia Canada, please accept my best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.  Cancer can be beaten, I can tell you are one of the good guys and you have lots of people pulling for you from all around this small planet.

Brian

Hi Peter,

I was shocked to read the news. I just hope that everything goes well and that you'll be back on your feet as soon as possible.

I'll be thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recovery,

Richard.

Good luck Peter and a speedy recovery. Never an easy enemy to beat but one I'm sure you can overcome [thumbs up] I did!
Kind regards
Jools

Get well soon Peter, from England I'm sending my best wishes.

You have friends all over the world wishing you the best, you can beat this!

Peter,

Though I have only known you through the FOG, I have always had a great deal of respect for you.

This news kinda makes my slight risk returning to Africa today seem very trivial. I can only wish the best for you, and while I'm not a Christian, I AM a Buddhist, and as such I'll be sending whatever decent karma I may have your way to work towards your successful surgery and speedy recovery.  Thoughts are with you.

Oh... my son sends this message as well  [smile]...

Stay positive,

Frank

Peter,
Your warmth and wisdom here on the FOG are much appreciated. Thank you. Along with the many good folks here on the FOG, let me add my thoughts and prayers for you and a speedy recovery.

Peter, go kick some ass!  Above all stay positive.  Seems you have a great attitude about it.  Tis the key my friend.

Best of luck today with your surgery and in the future with the nasty-arse chemo, from another cancer survivor.  Will be rubbing little green and brown bottles tonight on your behalf.

Hi Peter,

Stay positive and don't let this get the best of you, attitude can make a difference.

You have "big family" out here wishing you the best of luck and a sucsessful recovery !

James

FOGers...Come on guys, POST UP for Peter, make it a good long thread, it will give him something to do  [wink]

All of us are pulling for you. Make sure WOW sends one of his special First Aid Systainers to your hospital room right away. You have to mark your territory somehow... [wink]

I'm late coming to the thread, imagine your surgery has happened by now.  Hope all went well.

If thoughts and good wishes help, you should bounce back in no time - you have lots of friends out here!

Let us know if we can help in any way.

I have something in mind. Peter, would you be willing to share your hospital address and room number?

Good luck, you are fortunate to have the NIH on the case as they will be using the experimental protocols and be checking on how the treatments ar working and have more eyes on you than other hospitals might would and are more willing the adjust as more facts become available. You were also lucky to have a GP seek an accurate determination of the situation. Coming from a medical family with a brother that is a Pathologist, I am aware how bad things can go when a bad diagnosis has been made and revivification and constant follow-up until cured is very important. Both major surgery can chemo therapy are very hard on a body.
