When did Minis/Midis change to same specs as larger CTs?

I don't recall when this change occurred and I no longer have my old catalogs.  Does anyone recall when the Minis and Midis started being built with the same specs for suction as the larger CTs?

Thanks

As far back as the 2013 catalogue sitting on my shelf they are identical.  If I remember correctly they we different by about 5cfm during the 2011/2012 catalogue.

I don't have any older catalogues on hand or in my memory.

Hope this helps.

At some point earlier (not much) than 2013 they were 99CFM.

I could dig this up in old manuals and such if I really needed to, but my question is WHY do you need to know?

If you're buying a vac, I imagine it would be nice to be able to distinguish between the older and newer model. I know I did when I bought my second Mini, I had to make damn sure it was the new model with improved suction.

It was sometime in the 2011/2012 time frame. [smile]

In 2010/2011 it was 99CFM and by 2012/2013 it was 130 CFM.

Before september 2012.

At one point I knew from what serial number they had the new motor, but I don't remember.

Festool did this update 'quietly'

You could of course do exactly what I did; call Festool and ask them from what serial number the new motor was used. Then post it here  [tongue]
