I've been keeping a list of 'nice things to acquire when I have the money/excuse to obtain' and whenever I get to the end of that list it somehow
magically regenerates with new items every darn time and usually also spawns off-shoots into adjacent hobbies and new areas of interest without any effort on my part  [eek]

My list has evolved over the years and it has been going something like this:

Argh! Where am I going to put all this stuff?!? [doh] [scratch chin] [oops]

And it still continues....

How are the rest of you addic^H^H^H^H^H FOGers doing with your wishlists?

[size=11pt]

My list was/is a bit more modest and  will reach its conclusion after two more purchases over next few years. That is apart from 'accessories'.  [big grin]

This may be an age thing, but I am reaching a point when most needs are satisfied, and I need to get on with a 'deeper'  understanding and utilisation of what I have; realising the full potential of my tools within each of my projects.

It ends when you die.

I got very close to a recumbent a little while back, but Sydney roads don't favour the low slung. I was have considering importing a Tripendo. I'm looking at a new road bike now though, possibly considering a Giant Propel, I can't justify another Euro exotic.

I also just snuck a Fanatic Carbon Falcon 14' SUP home ... at least cameras are a little more compact and less obvious [wink]

Oh, forgot that I'm taking a Kayaking course next month and joining the local paddling club after it... So something paddlingish is probably going to next evolve onto the list... [doh]

It appears your wish list is highly delinquent in the photography dept [big grin]

Thank goodness the local club owns 100+ kayaks which are for members to borrow free of charge for 24h at a time... I hope I don't get suckered into this kind of infinity project  [tongue]

You could always make one. I woke up one day several years ago and decided to make a canoe from scratch. A kayak has been on my list for sometime now.
Here are 2 pics.

Looks beautiful JCLP!

But since I don't have a dry garage space to do the glue-ups and epoxying I highly doubt I'll be embarking on this project however cool it would be to roll your own.
Already tried to sell the idea to the missus to build her one for her next big birthday in 9-years time, but got shot down in mid air. No more tools for me with that excuse atleast  [embarassed]

Nah, if I'd ever move to your neck of the woods it would definitely be in NZ... Love the varying nature there and the people are super friendly (at least the ones I've met during my short travels around the North Island).

But probably my best bet would be to find a nice little cabin on a lake somewhere close to home and build a shop there...
