When is the FOG going to be really fixed?

Can you confirm that the photos that have been "lost" will be restored at some point and give some idea on the timescale please?

I'm still looking into that one.  I am not able to give a definite answer one way or the other at this time.

It is a bit tricky for me as it occurred prior to my arrival at Festool USA and none of the individuals who performed the corrective actions are still around.  I'm reading up on the history of the problem and looking into the solution that was put into place.  I'll let you know more as soon as I am able.

And as another data point, I received a notification this morning for a "topic you are following".  Only problem is, it was a new topic posted this morning and I hadn't visited the FOG, so, I got a notification for a thread I hadn't even read yet....

[member=33908]Baremeg55[/member] [member=50814]ScottW[/member]  You might want to check your settings in your profile account settings to make sure that you didn't accidentally set up notification for a "Board" (section) of the forum.  When the notifications weren't working it would seem logical that in an effort to get anything to work you might have selected that option.

[member=33908]Baremeg55[/member] I just checked your profile - I didn't make any changes.  Yes, I was correct.  You are set up for notifications on one entire Board.  You can change that and turn off notifications in your profile.

Thank you.  I checked and the entire board was selected (notify now disabled).  Perhaps this got selected when I clicked the "mark messages read" last time I was online.  It's Friday so all is good, otherwise I would blame it on a system glitch!
