Where can I purchase Metric set-up blocks

Thanks, Frank, for taking the initiative on this.  I ordered my set from Woodpecker's this morning!
I think it was Paul-Marcel who first contacted Woodpeckers.

These limited and one-time run tools from Woodpeckers and BCTW are killing me shipping to Canada.  Death by a thousand cuts.

Frank was the one that gave the quest focus. Several of us contact Rich. But Frank started the thread and got us all working in collaboration. Plus it demonstrated the demand for Metric setup blocks to Rich.

I may be late to the party, but I'm still happy as I ordered the Woodpecker's metric set up blocks today!!!!

Now we just have to wait 8 more weeks to get sauced!!!!

Ken Nagrod asked me a question about setup blocks in message and I need to use a picture to answer the question.  But I can't figure out how to include a picture in a message.  So, I am posting Ken's question and my answer here.

Ken's question:  Hi Frank.  I was reading over the posts from those Woodpeckers setup block threads and wondering in what circumstances would they be better than using something like the Wixey digital height gauge that measures in decimal, fractional and metric for blade and bit heights and fence distance?  You eluded to the setup gauge blocks doing things that the Wixey couldn't or couldn't do as well for you, so that's what info I was looking for.

My answer:  I would much rather make use of an object than a gauge in order  to establish position.  That's why I am such a big fan of story boards.  To Illustrate what I mean, here is a photo taken this morning where I am using a setup block in order to set the distance between a jig attached to my table saw fence and a dado blade.

Thought I would revive this old thread - Lee Valley now has metric setup blocks.

Veritas® Metric Set-up Blocks
That's good!  But, it did take them almost 5 years from the time I first contacted Lee Valley and requested them.  In the meantime, I did get a good set from Woodpeckers  so I am no longer in the market.

Not necessarily 5 years - Don't know when Lee Valley first started carrying them, but I just now had a need for them.

This is a little bit of lateral thinking! Have you considered using Lego building blocks which have very tight manufacturing tolerances?
