I've been searching for a good lumber store.

I used to go to Southern Lumber until it closed.  Woodcraft is ok but kind of far for what it is.

Is there any other place I should go?  Looking for materials but build kitchen cabinets and such.

Thanks,
Shige

Macbeath in Berkeley and San Francisco is a good source for sheet goods as well as lumber.  Haven't been to their South Bay location.

Aura in San Jose is pretty good as well.

Between those two you should get anything you need.

I second Macbeath, if you are in the north bay, try Mount Storm Forest Products in Windsor, just north of Santa Rosa.

Aura has been a good source for me, but I use their Rancho Cordova location
