Which of these is correct? I'm assuming the second one, because the solid ridge is supposed to be the "true" one, since it's also the one that the track saw hugs.

You can see in the PS 300 guide rail adapter there is a cutout to accommodate the pre 2004 rails. (The open top ridge wasn't there before then.)
