Which router to use with the VS600?

I recently acquired the VS600 at an unbelievable price, but I have the OF1400 and the manual only mentions the OF1010.  Can I use the OF 1400?  Will it be too big and present a problem, or can it be managed knowing it's too big?  What about bits, rings, etc?  Thanks in advance - Any experience and input is welcome.

Jeff, welcome to the forum. Yes, it's possible to use the 1400 but the 1010 is preferred due to size and weight.

As Shane mentions the OF1010 is recommended but it's also possible to use the OF1400.

In this thread I show a simple setup that makes it easier to use the OF1400 together with the VS600.

I saw the setup you made, Henrik, which made me ask the question since it appeared to me you were trying to mitigate the cumbersome nature of the OF1400.  I'll give it a try and see how it works for me.  I'm not quite ready to purchase another router just for the jig, but at least I'll have an excuse!
