Which Router with the Festool CMS Router Table

I am about to purchase a used CMS router table.
It is unlikely I will be doing any really large stock.
Any reason to get the 2200 Router? Or would the 1400 be fine?
Has anyone just used a router motor like a Triton on a router table?

You'll be fine with the 1400, it works well. I've used both in my CMS and the 2200 is now installed because I needed to use the 1400 hand held.

depends do you have a smaller router for hand held use of smaller dia bits? The 1400 is a great router to use in a out of the table. But it does have its limitations.

I got a 700, which I use for 90% of my hand routing, a 1010 which i use for hand routing with bits that cant be used on the 700 and I use it for the LR 32 system.

I got the 2200 in my CMS. Its a beast and IMO the best router on the market. Its very well balanced I use it for larger dia bits that cant be used in the other 2 routers and I keep it in my CMS. It can hog out about anything
