Which sander for solid surface bowls?

I have a customer that is getting into solid surface work and is looking for a sander that would work well to finish bowls. I was thinking the RO 90 might work but might not because of the shape. Something the shape of a ETS would fit in better but since I've never tried it, I'd like to know if someone here is actually doing solid surface bowls. If so, how?

I'm not sure about solid surface bowls, but many woodturners use Milwaukee's close quarters drill with a 2-3" sanding pad.
