Which Sortainers to buy?

i agree 100% that the tools shoud pull out instead of top open.  the one you want is always on the bottom!  I understand that festool is addressing that problem of jambing drawers.  I also have that happen over and over again.  pia !  almost have to break it open.

but for most of the festools a pull out stackable drawer system would be great.  I am looking at the pull out container to put in my van for the systainer.  and that might work.

Stored in a SysPort, the top-opening Systainers are secure when the SysPort is locked -- Sortainers are not unless you turn them around such that the drawer latches are inaccessible.  Now, if the drawers were to lock rather than merely latch their usage for tools might be better in this regard.  Wanting a manufacturer to offer the product two ways seems like it would only add costs to an already expensive product line -- offering their products packaged in these Systainers may very well make the most business cents.
