Who's got the Sys Cantilever toolbox?

£60 in the UK, seems a lot to me for a plastic tool box, how sturdy is it?

I have one! Love it! Full of all sorts of bits and bobs. Pretty sturdy like.

Got 3. They stack well, etc - but they're nothing like as sturdy as a good old metal toolbox.

I've had loads of different toolboxes. The Stanley one I had on wheels was probably the most robust (I still have it in the shed) But I like the sys tool box a lot! Probably only because I have sold my soul to Festool and it stacks well with my cxs and assembly kit. I find with these together I can do most little jobs.
I guess it depends on what you plan on carrying in it. It's great for small tools but I struggle to get my Anti Vibe hammer in the top tray That's why I'm also going to go for the open tote style one too
All in all I love it though. I don't know that it's really worth £60 if I'm honest but it's got "that" name on it and so we all know the deal!

I've got one too. I put all of my shelf pins, hinges and other cabinet pieces and parts in it. I actually love the box, I wish it came with more of the plastic inserts. Really well made, just like all of the other systainers. Not a blowmolded box but it keeps my shop organized.

Love mine. Use it as my electrical toolbox. Holds everything I need when I'm working on outlets, switches etc. I swap the little storage boxes as required from my main storage in the garage if I need outlets, switches, plates etc. Been getting a lot of use recently along with my small sys toolbox that holds all my drywall tools - we're splitting a room and installing a bunch of hi-hats. Great that they stack nicely on my CT26.

I have one open style and one of he hinged tray style. I use each for temperary use according to the tools I need for a specific job. It is a lot better than trying to keep everything scattered on horizontal surfaces.

The cantilever really shines if you have an organised shop where all the bits and pieces are held in the grey boxes that fit into it (or if you don't mind that putting those from their original containers in these boxes & vice versa). You just pick out what you need on a job & presto, Bob's your uncle!

I use three cantilever tackle boxes and one large tool box.

Finally, I use one cantilever on top of the tool box to have a "lid". I really wish the tool box came with one, but this is the best best arrangemt to consider in order to avoid having dust and other job site materials landing on one's tools.
