Wife wants a CT for household use?

I built a small screened in room about 4’ x 4’ using two storm doors (one fixed, the second operable) tucked in the corner against the house.  I added a kitty pass through form the sun room to that screened room.

I put the kitty litter box in that screened in room.  After that, I got no more kitty litter indoors and no kitty litter fragrance.

I changed the litter while out on the deck, so none of the clay was ever brought int the house.

There were a couple of shelves for the cat to lounge on when the temperature was comfortable.

In the winter I put in the glass inserts.

Both cats are gone now.  I removed the storm door enclosure.  All that remains is the kitty door.

I will cover the door with wainscoting soon.  I will have to figure out a patch for the siding I cut.

Better than cleaning litter is never to have indoors at all.

Note:  My property backs up against a nature preserve.  One entire summer a pair of red tailed hawks nested in my backyard.  Outdoor cats disappear in my neighborhood so letting the out means feeding the wildlife.

we have a miele canister with hepa or carbon filter which is lighter, quieter, has a powered turbo brush with a light which festool can't touch
anti static hose, wand control, no dust when changing bags, etc etc

that said if i have the ct26 around, it vacuums just the same except when it comes to carpets. although sometimes the festool wand tends to fall apart since it's held by friction only, in 5 pieces

oh and the cord is a pain compared to miele which has the auto-retractable which is so smooth
i was thinking of replacing the ct26 cord with a softer (SJOOW?) but the prices are kinda high now
Ya I second the Miele vac. I used my midi for a time for household cleaning when it was fairly new and the Miele is lighter, quieter and performs better for household cleaning than the midi vac. Lower cost as well to buy a miele

That Wessel-Werk TK286 will not go directly on the Festool 36mm hose nor on the cleaning wands. There's a pretty cheap Bosch adapter that works perfectly. How well it stays in while doing the cleaning, I don't know.

I tried this Bosch adapter and the bottom line is, don’t do it.

An Amazon search for a better alternative turned up this one, which actually works very well!https://www.amazon.com/dp/B096L2FJJV?ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_dp_2J3ZFTXXD77BW5NW8AF7

If the link doesn’t work, search for this “Wessel-Werk Vacuum Hose Adapter 1 3/8-inch to 1 ¼ inch”

Good to know about the Bosch adapter. I only did the test fit from the stainless cleaning wand to the Wessel-Werk head, but didn't do any actual cleaning with it. The fit is good, but I'd imagine it's working loose?

BTW, Miele has a metal adapter and it does not fit, at all.
