And this from a guy who said two months ago he'd never buy this expensive waste of money green stuff.
I think I'm past help, but that's it,  absolutey no more green toys this year!

You might as well give up the fight, your going to be buying more.

It is not a sickness.  You are going thru an enlightenment period where you are beginning to see the "system".  It is a great transition.  Enjoy.

Congrats on the new tools!!!

I am on to you and your little scheme though, just to let you know.  You are keeping that avatar photo up until which time we all give in, cough up a ransom if you will, to buy you to take down that hideous photo.  Creative way to come up with some cash for that next Festool purchase, gotta hand it to you!!!  :)

Buy one of the sanders then, then check back with us about stopping.

That said, congrats on acquiring some efficient, accurate and well built tools.

If you do resist the urge to purchase more this year than we will know you are sick.

As someone just said before me, your profile picture is hideous and I hope you don't hate me for saying that. That's the first thing I noticed. Anyways, congrats on the Kapex and you will now be forever poisoned by the green and black. Except it's not poison since Festool stuff is the "ish". Anyways, grab a drill and/or a sander and you'll be well on your way to addiction.

Spot on there Peter, embrace the system!!!!!!

i have that same whalen work bench! and i hate you for that kapex!

You will soon hit the wall of "Great Three"; Kapex, OF2200, and DF700.
Then you will fight against your internal yourself for few years to overcome this hardship.
You will find yourself slowing down at this point. So don't worry.
Another potholes along the road seem the drills. Many people here are struggling to justify them.

I just shot down a Kapex few months ago.....

If you do not have any of the sanders, you have no idea how far the fall can be.

I was just a painter until I bought the rts 400 eq sander, then the ct 26 with the wcr 1000, then the RO 90, add a mile of hose, then the Carvex jigsaw, then the TS 55, then some extra track, just picked up the of 1400 router (which I am CLUELESS on how to use correctly) and various other trinkets in between. I see the Vecturo in the near future because I have been fixing a lot of doors and jambs where homeowners have destroyed the striker plate areas with some of the most hideous fixes ever. I see cutting the sections of jamb out getting a lot neater than with the current Orange tool from the big orange store...

So rst is on the money with the above quote

and the answer is NO to your question. My sickness turned into more work fixing other trades mistakes. Thanks to Festool!

No more this year? It is only Feb. 2, there is a lot of year left. One sander is never enough. Will it ever end I have my doubts about that.

There's no end to it. In November I bought a CT48 and an ETS 150/3. That was my first purchase. Didn't take long, 2.5 weeks ago I ordered a TS75, 32" track, track connectors, 2 FS Quick clamps, Domino DF500, Domino assortment with bits and systainer, CT48 Boom arm. Next week I'm more than likely ordering a Rotex90 and ETS 150/5 or an MFT3/Possibly Kapex.

Just give in and forget about your wallet.
