I thought I would reduce the entrance to my workshop, and fit a door that I had spare. My workshop is an old packing shed built for market gardeners in the 1930s
which is part of my garden. I don't like travelling far to work.
The old sliding doors on the front of the building don't work to well, and the one that works only opens about 4 foot.
So in a bid the keep the heat in, and have a little more security I built a stud wall and door.
The 3x2 is pretty wet but when it's dry I'll insulate and board the inside.

Looks good. I would be tempted to reduce the door and fit some form of threshold strip to keep the weather out.  [smile]

I'll share the rest of the photos of my little humble shop.
It's not clean and tidy like the majority we see. I was mid project when I took these.
I could do with a bit more room, I store timber in a different shed.
I do use it to make a living, so not always time to keep it tidy. I don't like throwing away too many bits of wood and ply until I'm certain I don't need them.

I really like the little woodstove. ( Is that a woodstove?) It would however take way too long for me to destroy evidence of my mistakes in such a small stove. [scratch chin]

Yes it is a wood stove, slightly on the small side. Lucky the building has a chimney. I am going to replace it with a bigger one when I can. Gets a bit chilly in the winter.

Due to a lot of thefts in sheds in the area, Im concentrating on security at the moment.

Due to thefts in the area.

Have brought all my Festool in from the workshop and Van. I'll sleep better knowing there in the house. I can't bring everything in, but these would bring business to a halt if stolen.
I don't think my wife's too impressed with me putting them in house, it's only the boot room. [smile]
I have a Sys-roller ordered to help me load my van with what I need for the day.

Only winter on one half of the planet !

It's only just cooled off enough this evening now to think of putting a shirt on here [wink]

Now you've made the door smaller, I hope there are no large items you need to get back out of the workshop...

Wish I had enough room for a workshop at home!

Did think, was a standard  door practical. But everything I build has to go In to a house of some sort, so has to go through a standard doorway.
Anything large, I would put together outside, plus it's still got to fit my Transit van.
So I think I'll be alright.
But your right, it did cross my mind.
