I picked up a 0 degree base a few weeks ago for my new MFK 700. I was testing it out as I got ready for some cuts on some 3/8" thick edging. I kept getting inconsistent cuts in the edges. I assumed it was a newbie issue and it was me that needed calibrating.

But as I was adjusting the depth, I noticed that the base wobbled.  It actually wobbles about 5 or 6 degree. I checked the 1.5 degree base and it's as solid as can be.

I am guessing it's held on by a screw or bolt under the non-marring surface but it's inaccessible without cutting out some of the material or melting the adhesive to tighten screw/nut.

I'm assuming it'll be covered by warranty but is there anything that can be done to fix it without damage?  I rather not lose the weekends work.

Thanks

Karl,

Email me a photo of the base showing the issue, if possible, along with your contact details. I'll be sure we get it resolved for you. I *think* Iowa is one day shipping from our location in Indianapolis.
