Wolfcraft Bar Clamps?

Yes they are indeed.

If you want good clamps of this type get them from Irwin.

+1

I have a love/hate thing with the Irwin clamps. Love them because they work so well, hate them (on principal only) because they are so plastic-ie and ugly. I know, I know, never said I was consistent...  [doh]

PS - look for them before Christmas in blue/orange stores, 4-pack is around $20. Too expensive otherwise.

I have the Irwin version that has some kind of gearing in the handle. This allows for more clamping force. I use them because I don't have as long "real" clamps. But I don't really like them. It'ts impossible to get an even pressure. Even for a drawer that fits well inside the gap I have to use two clamps for each side because of the uneven pressure.

I also have some old (yellow) Irwins without the gearing thing. These are completely useless. Yesterday I ordered some Bessey Revo-K clamps to get an end of this miserable clamping situation =)

If I'd do it again, I'd by one *real* clamp at the time and then another when I could afford. I regret that I bothered with the low end stuff.

The geared Irwin clamps are not really "low end". Quite expensive as a matter of fact. But they are not made for glue-ups IMHO.
