I've been wanting to make a a wood storage cart for a long time and finally got around to building one.

Here are the before pictures:

I got the locking casters from Amazon.  I used the DF500 and some pocket screws to make the 4' x 3' tall center divider because I'm mostly limited to 2' x 4' panels.

The cart is 21" deep x 48" wide x 36" tall.  I can store a lot more wood scraps now and "slightly" more organized.  Being able to wheel the whole cart is also very handy.  I really should go back and probably throw away most of MDF and plywood scraps.  I'm really happy that I now have a "dedicated" space for my bench hooks, shooting board, and Betterley Straight Line Connector.

Thanks Neil!  Yup definitely easier than shuffling through the scraps in an old Amazon box.

Very nice and great write-up. I've been sitting on a similar design for a while just waiting to get time to build it and while not exactly the same, your build helps visualize how mine would turn out.  [thumbs up]

Thanks!  Hopefully you'll get some time to build yours soon.  Glad the pictures were helpful.
