I really want one of the large precision triangles and I know I can't be the only one.  If you too, want Woodpecker to do another run of these, please give them a call and let them know that you do want one, at 1-800-752-0725.  I'm told they really do react to feedback as far as production runs, so I figure, if enough of us ask for it, we have a good chance of getting it.  Thanks for joining in!

I've annotated on their website on several occasions asking to bring back certain one-time-tools.  No response.

I asked them about it, I was told it was a one time tool though I don't see it on the one time tool list. Anyhow, I would be interested but am not holding my breath at this point. That said, I have other woodpecker tools and think they rock!

This is easily the most frequently used tool in my shop!
I don't believe it was ever a formal item in the one-time tool list. It has been quite a while since it was sold.
Nice thing about this triangle is that it can take some shop abuse as it is self supported and won't go out of square.
Very highly recommended item.

I have been waiting for one of these as well and put my vote in on the website...we will see. Kicking myself for not getting one when they were readily available.

I was told by one of the CS people at Woodpecker, that a run of these triangles was being "talked about".  He said certainly nothing definite, but if he had to guess, he said 6 months.  I'm just trying to push  them over the edge with requests.  Hopefully, they'll get enough response to convince them to give it the green light.

Hmmm... You just gave me great use case for CNC machine I hope to get set up this year .....

I think I would rather have the 26" square,  but if this came first I would be fine with that.

I'm with jay,  I think I would rather the 26" first but would also take the 18" triangle if it was available first

I've emailed woodpeckers several times about the 26" and never heard back.

Hopefully an influx of interest will kick them in gear.

,Woodpeckers, if your listening... we want 26" squares and 18" triangles!!!!  Pronto.  [tongue]

I emailed Woodpecker about a year ago asking if they'd *EVER* consider doing a rerun of a single released products and I was told a categorical NO. Doesn't make any business sense to me, but it's their company to run as they wish.

Interesting because they do have this request list that you can  "vote"  for reruns of one time tools.

Maybe they've changed their priorities, or maybe it was placed there just to keep the requests at bay.

At the time, I was interested in their setup blocks. Almost made a purchase of them from a member here, but the postal costs were too much for me to make the buy.

So am I blind??  :o  I do not see any triangles on the one time tool re-run request form, and no way to add your own tool either..

I understand they make tools, especially one time tools, in batches and that requires set up and some guaranteed sales to make it worth the effort. You would think a large precision triangle would be part of their regular product line.

Their carpenter's squares used to be standard items -- I purchased mine back then.  Very nice product.

Edit > Corwin beat me to it.

Yeah, I don't see the 18" on the list, but the 26" is. Now that I think about it  I don't think the 18" was a "One Time Tool" , It  used to be part of the regular line that might explain why it isn't on the list.

No write in line to type in , in order to add to the list , but it is possible to type in the comments box  for one of the other tools.

Your right.  The 18" Precision Triangle is not on the list, but it is on my list.  I have the square and love it.  That said, the 18" Triangle would be the icing on the cake.  In fact, 18", 20" or bigger, the better.
Main thing is, I think calling in your request is key.  If they hear it enough times, they'll know there's a market for it.  If they don't hear it, they don't know it.

Just LIL...

Been a customer of WoodPeckers since 2000, and have seen great products, and some not so great products.

The triangles and squares are in the great product category.

IMHO, the best way to get a run of previously offered tools is to contact the owner, Richard Hummel directly.

richardhummel@woodpeck.com

Hope that helps.

They have rerun tools before.  Just this year they did a re-run the Paolini pocket rules.  I voted for that one after seeing it in many Festool videos featuring Paolini.

Fantastic!  Let's email the owner!  That's the way to get it done.
