I missed the order cutoff, and glad I did, because I ordered the new Lee Valley set two days ago. Just as accurate and a lot less expensive....and already shipped! [big grin]
Cheers,

I'm with you, slopjock. I'm becoming as addicted to Woodpeckers as I am to Festool and am willing to wait. Of course I would rather have it right away but waiting is better than nothing.slopjock78 said:I am very patiently waiting for my square to arrive. I have a growing collection of woodpeckers tools (just like my growing collection of systainers.......coincidence??) and I see no reason for that to stop. By this point most everyone should know that woodpeckers has very high demand verse their production speed. Many people, myself included, are willing to wait in order to buy an extremely high quality American made product. In fact, I have already ordered another OTT, even after having an extended waiting period for my large square.
Honestly, I dont quite understand the problem. There are MANY upper end products that require a wait time. If you order a truley upper end custom car, would you not expect to wait months to take delivery? yes, i realize there is much more to making a custom car then a 18" square, but many of the same rules apply. it is all about production speed vs demand. Woodpeckers has created demand outside of what they have the ability to produce in what some perceive as a timely manner. I dont see this as a problem. I see this as validation that others confirm what I believe: that woodpeckers products are worth the wait.
for those that dont see it the same way, there are other options out there for good measuring and marking tools.
