Im considering the Super Fence from Woodpeckers. Anyone have one and what do you think?

I have the CMS OF, but will be getting the Incra fence and positioning setup when I get round to it. My guess would be that the Woodpeckers Fence is well made, but it simply woundn't tip the scale for me on features.

Never used or seen the Woodpecker's fence in person. It certainly looks like a nice fence but it is really hard to beat the Incra LS Positioner Fences. I have the full Incra set up .... fence , positioner, split fence (Wonder Fence), etc. Looks like the Full blown Incra is about $150 more than the Woodpecker's. I would say it is worth it. I would say the Woodpecker's is probably worth the price tag too, but now that I have used the Incra I wouldn't  want to give up the positioner and features.

Actually if you add the optional Woodpecker's Micro adjust the price difference is only about $50 and is you add the optional offset unit (for double offset) they are almost the same price. The Incra has all that built in and the positioner. Plus a couple of other items.

I would agree that the Incra setup with the LS Positioner fence is hard to beat for accuracy and ease of use. I have the under table dust collection box also and the setup is very close to dust free hooked up to a good dust collector. It is the most accurate table setup out there. I cut perfect half blind dovetails on the second try during my first session with the fence/table/router lift. I couldn't do that with any other setup out there. I think that, to make the Woodpecker fence as accurate as the Incra, you would need to include the micro-adjust accessory.

Price-wise . . . when I bought mine, I signed up for their website and got 10% off my first purchase. That would bring the price very close to the Woodpecker table I think.

Woodpecker stuff is very nice, but I too have the incra LS +1 from me for Incra, the woodpecker is probably an amazing product "I wish I had more of thier stuff than I do". But two words. Accuracy and Repeatability.

I have both and they each have their strengths.

The Incra is the best setup for joinery - it is accurate and repeatable.

The Woodpeckers Super Fence is built like a tank - I use it when routing profiles and as an edge jointer

I find it "repeatable" even if I make a mistake and must recut a piece, going back to a fence distance I used earlier. I can just reset it. I have even had to recently adjust something in the middle of cutting a set of half blind dovetails. The result was still almost perfect in the end (not as good as if I hadn't been stupid and made a mistake but the dovetails still fit extremely well). I swear by the Incra fence and have used an older version of the Incra positioner on a Rockler fence. It made my the Rockler fence and my homemade table one of the most accurate tools in my shop till I upgraded to the Incra table/fence package recently.

Well guys i ended up purchasing the Woodpeckers fence, aluminum woodpeckers plate, and the Triton TRA001 router. I'm just going to modify one of my Kapex tables for it.  I probably should have gone with the Incra but i only do raised panels or even a router table once in a blue moon. Actually  the last time i used my last router table was 3 years ago.  [sad]

All great choices. I have a Triton router which I love. Since I got my Incra table and the Festool OF1400 I don't use it as much but it is still a great router and the Woodpecker things will be great I'm sure.

Are the Triton routers the same bright orange things we have available in Oz [eek]

Not a fan if they are!

I'd like to see a review with pics on the Woodpecker's fence  [poke]
