So I live in Alaska, I would like to fly down to the states for a couple weeks to take a woodworking class. Does anyone know of some good classes or workshops I could go to? My skills are I would say beginner or a bit better. I wanna learn things like hand and machine cut dovetails, inlays, planing techniques so on. Let me know if you know. I have found a lot of stuff online, but not sure which ones are good.

I attended a course given by Garrett Hack in Vermont last year and plan to repeat this year. It was on essential hand tools and included the techniques you mentioned. Highly recommended and very enjoyable.

He is doing several more classes of varying lengths this year.

Here is the link.
