This is simply a piece of 3/4" MDF, purely as a sample. I was shooting for the "Rock glass" squarish shape.
The one I have easy access to, fits it.... but probably "too well". You have to be very exacting in the way you set it down or it will miss. Maybe deeper in the pocket too.
There was no profile done to any of the edges, a bevel on the inside might help, as well as just making it slightly larger over-all. I'm thinking I should duplicate the shape of the pocket onto the bottom, as a foot. Then they can nest together.
Thoughts/opinions?
