Worktop jig

not sure I understand "worktop jig".
Do you mean something you can use to make your own 20mm hole pattern on 96mm centers? - like a ParfGuide?

Peter must be "across the pond". What we call counter tops they call work tops. A work top jig allows them to put a masons miter (we'd call it a jack miter) into the top and join them at 90º to each other.

Never fit one but their joints look easier than our (US) full miters on countertops.

Especially when you have two closed ends (walls) and a U-shaped top that runs
from wall to wall.
 
This is an example of what the finished joint looks like when cut with a router and a worktop jig.
