For the offcutside splinterguard to be usefull, the teeth of the sawblade have to pass through it; with the ts75 you have to plunge deeper than with the ts55 for the teeth to reach it, so the standard splinter guards are useless with certain thicknesses of material.
(Or you have to cut very deep into your cutting table)
I think Paul Marcell adressed this aswell in one of his videos. (I don't have a ts75 so I only vagely remember the video, but I believe he also came up with something that worked)
