I’m not sure if anyone has seen this before or not. Back in November I bought a 700 during the recon sale. I had to send it in for service in December. I received the unit back about 2 weeks ago, and while making test cuts, everything seemed to be working properly. I used it for real for the first time yesterday and all was going well until I test fit the last panel. I had it set to a depth of 25mm. When I dry fit the piece, it had only cut it to about 15mm. Since all the other pieces that day had gone perfect, I just assumed I had incorrectly set the depth, even though the machine was still set at 25mm. So I reset the machine to 25mm and recut all the dominoes on that piece...same result, only about 15mm. I moved all the stops around to make sure they were not interfering with the cut and still nothing. I ended up having to set the machine to 30mm to get a 25mm cut. I’m not sure what the heck was going on since I had made several dozen cuts that day that were perfect. Everything was confirmed right and appeared to be operating normally other than the depth of the last series of cuts. Suggestions?

I would suggest that you check your cutter to make sure the tip hasn't broken off and then based on your obeservations contact Festool on Monday would be my suggestion.
