Not what you're expecting in the Festool Tools & Accessories area I know.

I've been "collecting" Festools and I've got to the point where the SysRolls have left me wanting. The icing hit the cake when I purchased a few chisels for my Protool rotary hammer drill and was faced with a major systainer redistribution to pair them.

In a distant corner of the house (in a galaxy far, far away) I had some IKEA shelving). Wouldn't you know it, those damn clever Euros made their shelving incredibly compatibly ...

Even those gaps above the Sys5's will nicely fit another Sys1

Now I need to find somewhere for the "displaced" ...

This isn't and "end state" but a necessary in-between state, I was finding it hard to get to the right tool.

I'll get to a point where I will make some proper drawers and shelving for my Festools, but this is a baby step to where I need to be [wink]

Ok you win !!  Nice job organizing everything ,  is it hard to pull out what you need ?

Very nice...of course I envision a row of Sysports along the wall to replace the shelving...should only need about 10 of them at a minimum... ;D!

Kev - You, sir, are my new hero!  That is a most impressive collection you have there.  Equally impressive is how organized this appears!  My garage is terribly unorganized.  This makes me want to run out and start going through my garage and getting it into shape.  Oh, but first I must order about a dozen or so systainers for all of those tools that have no real home out there! I'm sure seeing this post just cost me some more money!  [eek]

WOW.......am jealous. V nice collection. [drooling] Oh and they have just announced that they are opening a huge Ikea near me and that Ikea are building a housing development too???????????? ikea houses.

Will have to wait and see what they are like.

I was told that there are no Ikea stores in India, so the local carpenters use catalogues to show the clients and then copy the item in their workshops!! Don't know if its true, but interesting all the same.

The Protool toolboxes look awesome! I also really like seeing all the sortainers on the dolly.  [cool]

Funny thing about the shelves is I gave a set of those away to a buddy years ago. They were set dressing on a show I worked on and I was able to grab them n/c. He still uses them for his electronic music gear and effect pedals, loves them in fact.

Have a good one,  [smile]

Nice line up!  I really need to get mine together in a Sysport or similar fashion. Currently they are in cabinets and I am getting too many to make that convenient anymore.

Are the two ProTool tool box stacks task specific?

Seth

That's awesome Kev [drooling]  No wonder you need more space  [poke]  Do have every Festool offered?

Daniel

Daniel, from your avatar you're not doing too bad.  I'm still trying to catch up to you pro's.  There's just no respect for the newbie.

Only thing I'm a pro at is collecting tools, not using them  [doh]  I'm just a newbie as well  [big grin]

Not at present and a fair bit of the content will eventually be wall mounted. I'm really just "mid" organisation. Each toolbox mainly contains tools by type ... small hand planes, chisels, hammers, measuring and marking, cordless vac, etc.

Getting task specific is the next level for me, just trying for accessibility in this cycle.

You got it bad buddy….

You must have a green kool aid still somewhere cooking that stuff and you're drinking way to much of it…

You are a sick man

I knew there was something about you I liked  [big grin]

that shop is way too clean to, you got to do something to mess it up, get some dust on the tools etc

Great collection!  And it's oh so nice to see them well organized like that.
