Out of curiosity, I checked Wikipedia on screw types ... Good grief, it's insane how many screw types there are! So I'll add to my desired ban: Frearson (Reed and Prince), yet another "Phillips" type of profile. I think my first set of Craftsman screwdrivers 40+ years ago included a Reed and Prince.

I framed up 3 temporary structures using 2x4 and GRK screws over the last year using the same screws and recycling most of the wood.That means screwing in and out the same 3" plus inch screws with no effect on the head or screw. Being self taping helps the process along nicely. That is quality and I do like their cabinet screws and R4.
